Reaction Injection Molding

RIM is putting two reaction raw materials-polyurethane and the resin mixture in a feed tank with a stirrer &controllable temperature, and entering the mixing head under high pressure after precise metering. At the start of the injection, the reactants enter the mixing chamber under certain pressure after opening of the valve of the mixing head, and high speed collision then flows into the mold(generally is rapid mold, such as silicone mold)at a pressure close to atmospheric pressure, finally solidified in the mold with exothermic chemical reaction. This process is generally used for medical equipment, large-scale auto parts batch production.

From Prototyping to Production

Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) mixes polyurethane and resin under controlled conditions, then injects the mixture into a mold, where a chemical reaction solidifies it.

Flexible Design Iterations

Chemical Reaction Molding

Uses reactive raw materials such as polyurethane and resin, which undergo chemical reactions to solidify in the mold.

01
Short Turnaround Times

Low Mold Pressure

The reactants are injected into the mold at a pressure close to atmospheric pressure, reducing mold pressure and cost.

02
Close the Production Gap

Precise and Uniform Mixing

Precise metering and high-speed mixing ensure uniformity of the reactants, resulting in high-quality products.

03
Optical Sensors-die casting products

Rapid Curing

The exothermic chemical reaction during molding allows the material to solidify quickly, shortening production cycles.

04
Semiconductor Industry-manufacturing parts

Ideal for Complex Shapes

Ideal for producing complex and detailed parts, particularly for large-scale production.

05
Medical Industry-cnc machining Parts

Excellent Durability

Parts produced using RIM have strong durability, impact resistance, and high mechanical performance.

Rapid Production in Mold Making and Injection Molding

We offer expert mold design, followed by efficient injection molding to produce prototypes or large production runs. With advanced technology and a focus on cost-effectiveness, we ensure the production of durable, accurate components tailored to your needs.

Reaction Injection Molding Materials

Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) uses polyurethane (PU) and resin mixtures. PU offers strength, flexibility, and durability, while resin mixtures enhance properties like thermal stability. The materials undergo a chemical reaction, solidifying into durable components, enabling precise, large-scale production of high-performance parts.
